The Navy League of the United States is a civilian organization dedicated to reminding Americans that we are a maritime nation and our national defense and economic well-being are dependent upon strong sea services – the Navy, Marines, Coast Guard and US-flag Merchant Marines.  The Broward County Council of the Navy League was chartered in 1968, incorporated in 1990.  The Council was voted Meritorious Council of the Navy League for 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 and Outstanding Council for 2007 and 2008 for our support of the sea services and our community involvement.  

Membership in the Navy League of the United States is a requirement for membership in the Broward County Council.
