Broward
County Council
On January 15, the 2006 officers were sworn into office by
Captain Mike Turner of the USS Leyte Gulf. A luncheon was held at the
Yankee Clipper with the Spruance Division Sea Cadets presenting the colors.
The Council members enjoyed beautiful views of the ocean while
Joe Giambrone was sworn in for his second term as President. The other
officers are: Gayle Malone-Neary, First Vice President; Alan Stein,
Second Vice President; John Kiefer, Vice President Legislative Affairs; Peggy
Raben, Treasurer and Marianne Giambrone, Secretary.
Attendees included Mike Addesso, Commandant of the Marine Corps
League and a new member of our Council.
