Broward County Council

On January 15, 2006 members of the Council enjoyed a reception hosted by Captain Mike Turner of the USS Leyte Gulf.  Joe Giambrone presented monetary awards and certificates to Sailor of the Year ET1 Brad Vedros, Junior Sailor of the Year Sk2 Tawanna Anderson and Blue Jacket of the Year BM3 Mike Bakke.  Everyone in attendance enjoyed the efforts of the crew who provided a wonderful assortment of food and beverages.
