Broward County Council

On March 7, 2009, YNC Janette R. Chandler of the Navy Operational Support Center ended her 20-year career with a moving retirement ceremony. A capacity crowd attended the event at the center and heard of the Chief's award winning career in the Navy. Former commanding officer Russell Larratt was the guest speaker and spoke very highly of the Chief's special way of handling any situation. Sixteen members of the council were in attendance and were treated to refreshments after the almost 2 hour celebration of Janette's career.
