County Council
On Tuesday, May 2, 2006, the Council hosted
the Junior Officers party for Fleet Week 2006. The party was held at
Coconut's Bahamian Grill in Fort Lauderdale - it was the Council's first party
there and they certainly gave us quite a welcome. The approximately 150
officers in attendance enjoyed conch fritters, coconut shrimp, rice and beans
and more. The view of the yachts and water certainly impressed many of
these young and women, especially those visiting us on the Canadian ships.
It was a great evening that was truly enjoyed by all in attendance.
