Broward County Council

On May 22,2006  the American Maritime Officers, RTM STAR Center and the Port Everglades Propeller Club  hosted the Maritime Day ceremonies.  Several Council members attended the event which was held at the I. T. Parker Community Center in Dania Beach.  Maritime Day serves as a way to salute the members of the U.S. Merchant Marine, and especially the veterans of that service.
