Broward County Council

August 2007 - The Broward County Council was very fortunate to have been chosen as the recipient of a grant in the amount of $500.  Al and Shelly Stein were made aware of the community grant through their book project efforts at Wal-Mart.  The request for the grant emphasized the Council's monetary support of the outstanding graduating cadets from four local JROTC units.  Stephanie Pope, Community Relations Director of the Sawgrass Wal-Mart store presented the $500 check to Al Stein, Director of the Council.
