Broward County Council

Three squadrons of YP's from the US Naval Academy visited Port Everglades as part of youngster cruise.  Visits occurred in June, July and August 2006 and were sponsored by the Naval Academy Alumni Association.  Our Council helped host picnics for the youngsters with a financial contribution and Council members attended each of the events.  The first picnic took place at Fort Lauderdale Coast Guard Station; the second two picnics were held on Fort Lauderdale's South Beach.  The last group of youngsters were lucky enough to visit the Dolphins training camp and were able to get some autographs.
