Broward County Council

On December 1, 2007 , the Navy League of the United States – Broward County Council and Broward Navy Days held their annual Coast Guard Holiday Party. 

The event was held outdoors at Grumpy Gators on Cordova Road in Fort Lauderdale .  Coast Guard personnel from Coast Guard Station Fort Lauderdale, the USCGC Gannett, Aids to Navigation and Air Station Miami were in attendance.  The weather was perfect for the Coast Guard personnel and their families to enjoy an evening of food and drink.  Jolly Tunes by Kimbee provided every type of music and encouraged all to give the karaoke a try.  

Everyone in attendance was asked to bring an unwrapped toy and a great selection was collected.  All toys were donated to the Marine Corps Toys for Tots program and were brought to the Naval Operational Support Center in Hialeah .
