Broward County Council

On April 8, 2006, the Council hosted its annual Easter egg hunt and BBQ for the Coast Guard families.  We were pleased that the families of Air Station Miami were able to join us this year.   Over 100 people enjoyed a day of egg hunting, games, food and good conversation.  Our cooks, Council members John Kiefer, Brian Kling and Sid Weigner kept the hot dogs and burgers coming for the hungry crowd.  The children enjoyed the bounce house and each child received a bag of candy donated by Publix Supermarkets.  Ships Supply donated the food and papergoods and certainly outdid themselves this year.  Thanks to everyone who attended and who played a part in making the day a success.
