Broward Council Celebrates the Navy's
Birthday
Robert N. Hein, President of the Broward
County Council of the Navy League, was the keynote speaker at the
celebration of the Navy's Birthday at SOUTHCOM. He was introduced by
Capt. Jay M. Chestnut.
Hein discussed the growing gap between
the All-Volunteer Navy and the public and what can be done to close
it. Efforts of the Navy League to close the gap were highlighted.
The celebration agenda included the
